| A dream lies dead here. May you softly go Before this place, and turn away your eyes, Nor seek to know the look of that which dies Importuning Life for life. Walk not in woe, But, for a little, let your step be slow. And, of your mercy, be not sweetly wise With words of hope and Spring and tenderer skies. A dream lies dead; and this all mourners know:
Whenever one drifted petal leaves the tree- Though white of bloom as it had been before And proudly waitful of fecundity- One little loveliness can be no more; And so must Beauty bow her imperfect head Because a dream has joined the wistful dead!

| Were you to cross the world, my dear, To work or love or fight, I could be calm and wistful here, And close my eyes at night.
It were a sweet and gallant pain To be a sea apart; But, oh, to have you down the lane Is bitter to my heart.

| Enterprise still rocks!
I still miss my friends. But I am fixing part of that by heading up
north December 8-11. Here's to NorCal and all my buddies up there that
I'll be spending some quality time with!!

| So after two months of working at Enterprise, I've been rewarded for my sales, made MVP, and attended numerous company functions in which I drink at their expense. I've also managed to rent some cars and meet some repeat customers who ask for me by name. I get to drive Mercedes on a daily basis, know the difference now between 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines, get a discount on car washes, memorized different car classes, work 50-60 hours per week, and still had time to be the Halloween fairy last Monday night. (The costume was a smash, mind you!)
In all of this, I still miss my UCLA days and my friends from up north. You all mean a lot to me, and I apologize that I don't get a chance to a.) express that, or b.) even see you kids.
So, come visit me in Redondo! I am tricking out the pad which should be done in the next couple of weeks.....

| Enterprise training, in a few key words and phrases:
1. High-maintenance roommate
2. It takes all kinds
3. Sell-up!
4. 8 core values
5. There are 58,000 rental cars in CA alone
6. Enterprise is the largest rental car company in the world
7. Protection packages
8. Variety
9. Value
10. Autonomy and freedom
11. FUN! But hard. But fun.
12. FREE STUFF!
So those are my initial thoughts. If renting cars to customers is
anything like training, us Enterprise folks have it made. And PS, there
was only one person younger than me at the training session. How's that
for counterbalancing my Westwood experiences, eh?
